To erase the perceived need for abortion through effectively serving pregnant, at-risk women and transforming their fears into confidence.
Reaching the right women, at the right time, and serving them in the right way for the greatest possible gain on behalf of patients, babies, staff, donors, the organization, the community, and God.
True Care began in 1987 as The Caring Center in a small house on S. Grant Street. After 11 years, the center moved to the City Center Building, where the Baby & Me mentoring program was created.
In 2004, the board transitioned the center into a medical clinic offering pregnancy testing and limited ultrasounds. That same year, the organization moved to the Poplar Street location and later became True Care Women’s Resource Center in 2011.
The Resource Program launched in 2013 to connect abortion-vulnerable women with community support throughout pregnancy and early parenting. In 2018, the Fathering was added to strengthen fathers and families.
Following the overturning of Roe v. Wade in 2022 and the opening of an abortion clinic in Casper in 2023, True Care opened a nearby walk-in clinic. After relocating in late 2024, services were consolidated in a new building at 770 East 2nd Street, where all medical, educational, resource, and administrative services now operate under one roof.
True Care continually refines its outreach, patient care, and follow-up to reach more abortion-minded women and support them in choosing life. Since 1987, 13,073 women have been served, and thousands of unborn lives have been saved since tracking began in 2008.
True Care Women’s Resource Center is a Christian, life-affirming service organization providing emotional, spiritual and material support to women and families dealing with an unplanned pregnancy.

Ultrasound is offered to our patients to confirm an intrauterine pregnancy and viability.

ECFA: It’s not always easy to earn people’s trust. Just as people are more likely to trust an accredited college or a product with the Good Housekeeping seal, donors are more likely to share their resources with an organization they believe to be trustworthy. ECFA enhances trust in Christ-centered churches and ministries by establishing and applying
ECFA’s Seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship™ to accredited organizations.
